Foam Core Processing

  • Flat foam: Foam board can be used directly after slicing without additional processing. For curved surface requirements, flat thermoforming technology can be used for shaping.
  • Perforated foam: holes with a diameter of about 2mm are evenly distributed on the foam, and the hole diameter can be adjusted according to the thickness and density of the foam. These holes help the resin penetrate and exhaust the air.
  • Groove foam: The foam surface is engraved with grooves as the resin flow path, which can be one-sided or double-sided, one-way or two-way. The groove design is designed to optimize the resin infusion process and effectively exhaust the air.
  • Groove + perforated foam: On the basis of groove foam, holes with a diameter of 2mm are added inside the groove, with a spacing of about 20mm. This design combines the advantages of perforation and groove to improve the efficiency of resin penetration.
  • Hyperboloid foam: Foam is partially cut (approximately 55-60% thickness), with staggered cutting lines on both sides, specially designed for curved surfaces. Compared with full contour cutting, this method has a lower resin absorption rate.
  • Corrugated foam: One side of the foam is cut into granules, and the other side is pasted with fiberglass mesh cloth, which is suitable for complex curved surfaces and enhances structural strength and adaptability.
