Compact Laminate
Fire Resistant, Waterproof, High Strength, Colorful and Easy To Clean.
What is Compact Board?
Compact Board is a type of HPL (High Pressure Laminate), which is thicker, tighter and stronger than ordinary HPL. Compact Board is made of thermosetting resin impregnated paper under high pressure. Its surface color and texture are diverse and widely used in the field of decoration.
HPL, the full name of High Pressure Laminate, is composed of multiple layers of materials: the outer layer is decorative colored paper containing melamine resin, and the inner layer is multiple layers of black or brown kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin. These materials are pressed under high temperature and high pressure of steel plates, giving HPL excellent properties, such as corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, fire resistance, sound insulation and waterproofing.

Personalized and Customized Compact Laminate Solutions
- High Strength and Impact Resistance: Compact board has high elastic modulus, tensile strength and bending strength, which makes it less likely to be damaged when subjected to external impact.
- Fire Resistance: Compact boards have good fire resistance and will not melt, drip or explode when exposed to high temperatures. Compact boards have a high fire resistance rating among organic materials and will not release toxic and corrosive gases.
- Waterproof and Moisture Resistant: Compact boards can be used in a humid environment for a long time without expansion, deformation or damage.
- Rich Colors: The surface color paper layer of compact board is diverse, and you can choose a variety of decorative effects such as glossy surface, wood grain, cloth grain, stone grain, etc.
- Easy Processing: Compact boards can be drilled, hammered, sanded, profiled, cut, etc. using carbon steel alloy tools, or cut into any desired shape using CNC machines according to actual needs.
Application Areas
- Indoor Decoration: Compact boards are widely used in counters and interior walls of banks, airports and other systems, bathrooms and toilet compartments in public places, windbreaks and benches of station platforms, school tables and chairs, canteen tables and cabinet hangers, etc.
- Outdoor Facilities: Compact boards are available in a variety of series such as monochrome, natural colors and metallic colors. They are bright and long-lasting, suitable for the exterior walls and balconies of public facilities and various facilities with frequent in and out of people.
- Laboratory Facilities: Compact boards have outstanding drug resistance and are suitable for facilities such as physical laboratories, chemical laboratories, biochemical laboratories and clinical practice rooms, as well as workbenches in research institutes and communication rooms.
